Alert Date to Accept Offers of Admission Extended to May 15

Penn State will extend its offer acceptance deadline from May 1 to May 15, 2024, for incoming first-year students enrolling in the summer or fall 2024 terms.

General Eligibility Information for Transfer Students

Students wishing to transfer to Penn State should review the following information regarding eligibility for desired programs of study.

High School Requirements

Transfer applicants are expected to have met the minimum high school requirements to be eligible for enrollment. Deficiencies in any of these requirements may be fulfilled by equivalent college course work prior to enrolling at Penn State. Academic Eligibility

Programs and campuses have minimum GPA requirements that transfer students must meet to be eligible for admission. A student’s GPA may be recalculated to match the GPA standard used for Penn State students.

Although Penn State has minimum GPA requirements, transfer admission is more competitive for certain colleges, as some colleges have limited space.
