Students are not alone at Penn State. When needed, they can access counseling services for assistance.
College can be the best of times: exciting, fulfilling, an adventure.
But when the worst hits--when things get out of hand and challenges threaten to overcome your ability to cope--Penn State has professionals ready to help you work things out.
The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) has mental health professionals on staff experienced in working with college students. CAPS staff can help students clarify whether what they are experiencing is healthy and normal or represents a concern that could benefit from or require professional treatment.
Counseling support and services are available at each Penn State campus.
