At Penn State Greater Allegheny, the more than 750 students enjoy the suburban environment with easy access to neighboring city life in Pittsburgh, 15 miles away.
On campus, a new student community center provides a wireless environment, game room, food court, staging areas for theatre and entertainment, lounging areas, student club offices, health services, WMKP radio station, and the Penn State Bookstore. Penn State Greater Allegheny also has a new fitness center, residence hall, library, computer center, and classrooms. There are also a number of student support programs available, including those for international students.
Prospect visits are intended for individuals who will have earned a high school diploma or the equivalent before enrolling at Penn State, but have not taken more than 18 credits at another regionally accredited college or university since graduating from high school.
High school students and others with fewer than 18 credits of college coursework who have received or accepted an offer of admission to Penn State.
Students transferring to Penn State from another university and have received or accepted an offer of admission.
