Penn State New Kensington has seventy-two wooded acres in Upper Burrell Township in Westmoreland County, including the multi-purpose Conference Center, the 350-seat Forum Theatre, the 600-seat Field House, and the Art Gallery, as well as a nature trail--a half-mile hike located in the southwest section of campus.

FROM THE NORTH:
Butler/ Kittanning area (30 to 45 minutes)
Take Route 28 south to exit 14, turn left at the end of the ramp and follow the signs for New Kensington (Route 366 east). At the intersection of Route 366 and Route 780, turn left and follow Route 780 east approximately 4 miles. The campus is located on the right side of the road.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Monroeville area (15 to 20 minutes)
Take Route 22 east to Route 286 east. Follow Route 286 to Route 380 east. Follow Route 380 to Route 780. Follow Route 780 west past the Alcoa Technical Center for approximately 5 miles. The campus is located on the left side of the road.
FROM THE EAST:
Indiana area (45 minutes)
Take Route 422 west to Route 286 west. Follow Route 286 to Route 380 west. Follow Route 380 to Route 780. Follow Route 780 west past Alcoa Technical Center for approximately 5 miles. The campus is located on the left side of the road.
FROM THE WEST:
North Hills area (20 to 30 minutes)
Take Route 279 South or Route 8 south directly to Route 28 north. Take Route 28 north to exit 14, bear right, and follow the signs for New Kensington (Route 366 south). At the intersection of Route 366 and Route 780, turn left and follow Route 780 east approximately 4 miles. The campus is located on the right side of the road.
FROM PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
Follow the directional signs toward Pittsburgh. Follow Route 279 north to Route 376 east. Follow Route 376 east to the Murrysville exit. Take Route 22 east to Route 286 east. Follow Route 286 to Route 380 east. Follow Route 380 to Route 780. Follow Route 780 west past the Alcoa Technical Center for approximately 5 miles. The campus is located on the left side of the road.
FROM THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE (I-76):
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) to exit 48 (Allegheny Valley Interchange ). Take Route 28 north to exit 14, bear right, and follow the signs for New Kensington (Route 366 south). At the intersection of Route 366 and Route 780, turn left and follow Route 780 east approximately 4 miles. The campus is located on the right side of the road.
