"I love the faculty and staff at New Kensington. It's rare for you to see a chancellor out in the hallways talking with students, but ours does this on a daily basis."
- Chelsea Leake, Penn State New Kensington student
Penn State New Kensington has seventy-two wooded acres in Upper Burrell Township in Westmoreland County, including a multi-purpose conference center, the 350-seat Forum Theatre, the 600-seat Field House, an art gallery, and a nature trail.
At Penn State New Kensington students have the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds, an intimate campus setting and all the resources of a major research university. The campus provides a beautiful setting for our modern facilities yet the faster pace of Pittsburgh's city life is just a short drive away and campus is in easy commuting distance from almost anywhere in Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Indiana, and Westomoreland counties.
