Penn State Beaver's beautiful campus is located just 35 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.
The campus residence hall, Harmony Hall, is only steps away from the Brodhead Bistro, a full-scale food court located in the Student Union Building, which also houses the student newspaper (The Roar) and the campus radio station (WBVR), as well as the campus bookstore.
Nestled on a scenic 100-acre campus in Beaver County, and just a short drive away from the metropolitan city of Pittsburgh, Penn State Beaver is in the heart of it all.
Housing Information:
From the Pittsburgh International Airport:
Take PA Route 60 North (follow the sign for Beaver). Follow Route 60 to the Monaca / Shippingport Exit (Exit 12). Proceed onto PA Route 18 North, passing through two traffic lights and following the signs to Penn State Beaver. The campus is on the left side of the road, approximately 1.2 miles from the exit.
From the West:
Take Interstate 76 or Interstate 80 to PA Route 60 South to the Monaca / Shippingport Exit (Exit 12). Proceed onto PA Route 18 North, passing through two traffic lights and following the signs to Penn State Beaver. The campus is on the left side of the road, approximately 1.2 miles from the exit.
From the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
Take Exit 10 (New Castle) and follow Route 60 South to the Monaca / Shippingport Exit (Exit 12). Proceed onto PA Route 18 North, passing through two traffic lights and following the signs to Penn State Beaver. The campus is on the left side of the road, approximately 1.2 miles from the exit.
From the East:
Follow the PA Turnpike to Exit 10 (New Castle), or take Interstate 80 to exit 4A, on to PA Route 60 South to the Monaca / Shippingport Exit (Exit 12). Proceed onto PA Route 18 North, passing through two traffic lights and following the signs to Penn State Beaver. The campus is on the left side of the road, approximately 1.2 miles from the exit.
From the South:
Take Interstate 79 to PA Route 60 North (follow the signs to Pittsburgh International Airport). Follow Route 60 to the Monaca / Shippingport Exit (Exit 12). Proceed onto PA Route 18 North, passing through two traffic lights and following the signs to Penn State Beaver. The campus is on the left side of the road, approximately 1.2 miles from the exit.
From the North:
Take Interstate 79 to Interstate 80 West. Follow Interstate 80 to Exit 4A and take PA Route 60 South. Follow Route 60 to the Monaca / Shippingport Exit (Exit 12). Proceed onto PA Route 18 North, passing through two traffic lights and following the signs to Penn State Beaver. The Campus is on the left side of the road, approximately 1.2 miles from the exit.
After entering the campus:
Proceed to the first stop sign, and continue straight up the hill, passing the baseball field and gymnasium on the left. At the second stop sign, turn right and follow the road straight ahead into the Visitors' Parking Lot. Use the Nittany Lion Shrine as a landmark: it's located near the end of the parking area.
