Penn State Erie
Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, offers a wide range of opportunities to its students. The campus is close to Presque Isle State Park with its seven miles of sandy beaches and ski resorts. Minutes from downtown Erie, students find a wealth of activities to participate in both on- and off-campus. New facilities include an indoor athletics and recreation center, three residence halls, an observatory, and chapel. Services are also available to help international students meet their unique needs.
Many students take advantage of on-campus housing, which can accommodate approximately 1,600 students. Others choose privately-owned housing available near campus. The 725-acre campus is in the northwest corner of the state, ninety minutes from Cleveland and Buffalo and two hours from Pittsburgh. Behrend also offers special services tailored to meet international students’ needs.

Visit Penn State Erie
These visits are for any student interested in attending Penn State Behrend. This includes prospective and accepted high school, transfer, change of campus, or adult students. These visits include individual counselor appointments and campus-wide open houses.
Prospective First-Year Students
For high school students who have not yet applied to Penn State, or who have applied to Penn State but have not yet received an offer of admission.
Accepted First-Year Students
For high school students who have received an offer of admission to Penn State Behrend.
For students who have already graduated from high school or completed a GED and will have completed more than 18 credits of college course work (post high school graduation/GED) before starting Penn State.
There are currently no scheduled events.
Adult Learner visits are intended for individuals who are 24 years of age or older; or a veteran of the armed services; or returning to school after four or more years of employment, homemaking, or other activity; or a person who assumes multiple adult roles such as parent, spouse/partner, employee, and student.
