Located in the rolling hills of south central Pennsylvania, Penn State York offers ntellectual, cultural, and historically-significant learning experiences in a friendly, commuter based-campus environment. The 51-acre campus includes six tennis courts, athletic fields, and several acres of woodland. Facilities include the Lee R. Glatfelter Library, the state-of-the-art Edward M. Elias Science Building, the Ralph G. and Madeline B. Swenson Engineering Center, and the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center.
We are conveniently situated near many major attractions including the Gettysburg National Military Park, Lancaster’s Amish country, the state capital in Harrisburg, and fun-filled Hershey Park. Students can also take advantage of entertainment, cultural, and sporting events in nearby Baltimore, Washington, and Philadelphia.
Penn State York attracts a robust international population. Our community is comprised of students from nine different states and 12 different countries. In addition, 25 percent of our faculty is international. It is our pleasure to provide special services to assist our international students with their transition to campus life.
