Spend A Summer Day is designed to help you learn about admissions, academics, and student life at Penn State.

Be sure to make your reservation and create your personalized itinerary. You may also want to look at information about travel and lodging. Below is a list of the day’s activities.

Spend A Summer Day Activities

8:00 a.m.
Arrival and registration begins 
Alumni Hall of the Hetzel Union Building (HUB)

9:15 a.m.
Admissions and student financial aid presentation

10:10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

  • Campus and residence hall tours
  • Information Fair about student activities and services
  • Fitness Facility Visit

11:20 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.

  • Academic presentations
  • Campus and residence hall tours
  • Information Fair about student activities and services
  • Fitness Facility Visit
  • Schreyer Honors College Presentation
  • Lunch on your own at various locations on campus*

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

2:00 p.m. – 2:50 p.m.

  • Academic presentations
  • Schreyer Honors College Presentation
  • Fitness Facility Visit
  • Campus and residence hall tours
  • Information Fair about student activities and services
  • Lunch on your own at various locations on campus* (through 2:30 p.m.)

3:10 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Remember to check the weather and be prepared to bring bottled water and umbrellas.
