Penn State announces COVID-19 masking at all campuses:

Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 conditions around the country and in Pennsylvania, effective (Aug. 4), Penn State will require all students, faculty, staff and visitors — including those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated — to wear masks indoors at all campuses.

Applicants: Submitting Application Materials

We understand that students are under a lot of stress as they begin their college application process. Penn State is flexible. If you have questions or concerns about your application contact us at (admissions@psu.edu or 1-814-865-5471).


Penn State will be test-optional through summer/fall 2023

Students applying for admission to Penn State for the summer or fall terms through 2023 will have the option of having SAT/ACT scores included in their evaluation for admission. Penn State’s application for summer/fall 2022 will be open for future undergraduate students starting August 1, 2021. Students will indicate via a question on the application whether they want test scores used in the evaluation of their application for admission.
