Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Admissions to Penn State

We have received a number of messages from our applicants and admitted students regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We want you to know we are thinking about you during this time.

Penn State wants to help support our future students impacted by the outbreak. We understand that fulfilling all parts of the application process may be difficult at this time, so we will remain flexible and continue accepting student application materials up to Penn State’s official decision day of May 1, 2020.  As soon as you are able to send your documents, please do so and let us know if you have any questions (admissions@psu.edu or 1-814-865-5471).

(Penn State World Campus Applicants: If you are applying to study online through Penn State World Campus, application deadlines are different. Please email pennstateonline@psu.edu or 1-814-863-5386.)

We are here to help you as you work through the undergraduate admissions application process for Penn State. Please be assured that your health and safety, and the health and safety of the entire Penn State community is of utmost importance to us.

To that end and with an abundance of caution in protecting all members of the Penn State community, Penn State has announced that all activities relating to Admitted Student Programs, Prospective Student events, and campus visitation will be suspended through May 15. In addition, classes at all Penn State campuses will be held online beginning March 16 and continuing through the end of the semester. To see Penn State’s latest announcement visit Penn State News.

Please continue to monitor this page for additional updates as they become available.
