Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Admissions to Penn State

Will I pay the same amount for online summer classes as I would on campus?

Penn State has announced adjustments to tuition for students starting summer at Penn State. Please see the official announcement for details. For the summer session, students will save the cost of room and meals, transportation to and from campus, and other additional living expenses.

Students who have been admitted to the summer term at Penn State and would like to pursue financial aid will need to submit the 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in addition to the 2020-2021 FAFSA. Students can access this information on Penn State’s student aid website.

Penn State will need a student’s Social Security Number on file in order to process their FAFSA. If you need to add your social security number, you can do so in your MyPennState account under Validate Social Security Number.
