Making College Affordable: An Introduction to Financial Aid - February 3, 2018

A college education is an investment in your future.

Like any investment, there are up-front costs paid in anticipation of long-term gains and benefits. Student financial aid - educational loans, scholarships, grants, and work-study positions -- can help with those costs.

For most students, the responsibility for paying the majority of educational costs rests on their families. Most college students and their families use personal savings, tuition savings plans and student summer employment, in combination with student financial aid, to pay for their education. You will also learn about some Penn State specific options, such as the payment plans we offer.

We encourage you and your family join us for this FREE presentation to explore a variety of financing strategies and come up with a sound plan that will make a college degree a reality for your future.

Don't miss this important opportunity to find out how to make higher education affordable!

This FREE program is open to all High School Seniors & their families interested in learning about ways to pay for a college education, whether you decide to join the Penn State family, attend a different college, or choose another path.
