Penn State will extend its offer acceptance deadline from May 1 to May 15, 2024, for incoming first-year students enrolling in the summer or fall 2024 terms.

Congratulations! We are excited to welcome you to the Penn State family! We know you have already achieved great things in high school, but it is just the beginning. Through access to our world-class faculty, resources, and facilities, along with countless opportunities to get involved and make an impact, you can achieve your academic goals at Penn State.

The best way to see what your future at Penn State could hold is to visit campus, especially during For the Glory, a distinct opportunity for the highest academic achievers accepted to University Park.

This overnight program features a celebratory welcome reception, breakfast session with a faculty keynote and a special recognition of your success, as well as a classroom experience, special parent session, and an exclusive session with faculty and staff in your academic college.

For the Glory Program Details

This by-invitation-only program will allow you to experience life as a Penn Stater and learn about the outstanding resources and opportunities that will set your Penn State degree apart.

Accommodations

Penn State will provide one hotel room at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel on Sunday, January 26 for you and up to 3 guests to attend this special program. If you are able to join us for the programming on Sunday, we will arrange your hotel accommodations for you.

Students and guests will check-in at The Penn Stater Hotel on Sunday evening after the Welcome Reception and other events. If you do not arrive in time to attend the Welcome Reception or other activities, you may check-in at The Penn Stater when you arrive in State College. Students that arrive late can check-in for the official program on Monday morning.

Program Check-in Information

Families can park in the Jordan East or Stadium West parking lots and check-in at the All-Sports Museum at Beaver Stadium until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26. Additional optional programming will occur throughout campus from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

If you plan to arrive on Monday, January 27, registration will take place in Presidents Hall at The Penn Stater from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
