Our team holds events, travels to meet with future Penn Staters across the U.S., and serves the Penn State University Park Campus.

The Multicultural Outreach office in Undergraduate Admissions seeks to create a diverse student body through access and exposure to PennState opportunities and resources.

The Multicultural Outreach team holds events, travels to meet with future Penn Staters across the U.S., and serves as a liaison to other Penn State offices including the Vice Provost for Educational Equity and the Multicultural Resource Center.

Multicultural Outreach events bring students from throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states to University Park to experience everything that the campus has to offer. Our main programs include:

Spend a Summer Day Bus Trip

Held in conjunction with our Spend a Summer Day events, this overnight program provides a glimpse into everything Penn State has to offer. Prospective students and their families stay overnight in a residence hall and attend the Spend a Summer Day open house. Meals and lodging, and transportation are provided for a small fee.

Transportation, meals, and activity fees are sponsored by Penn State Admissions. Participants will have the opportunity to take a walking tour of campus, explore Penn State's academic programs, meet with college representatives, and enjoy social activities with our Latinx and multicultural student ambassadors.
