The Multicultural Outreach team holds events, travels to meet with future Penn Staters across the U.S., and serves as a liaison to other Penn State offices including the Vice Provost for Educational Equity and the Multicultural Resource Center.
Multicultural Outreach events bring students from throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states to University Park to experience everything that the campus has to offer. Our main programs include:
Held in conjunction with our Spend a Summer Day events, this overnight program provides a glimpse into everything Penn State has to offer. Prospective students and their families stay overnight in a residence hall and attend the Spend a Summer Day open house. Meals and lodging, and transportation are provided for a small fee.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Penn State Admissions' Office of Multicultural Outreach is excited to invite you to an exclusive virtual event. Come experience a day full of Latinx unity and learn all about what Penn State has to offer! Sessions will include a campus tour, academic programs, student resources,college readiness presentations and a chance to meet current student leaders from multicultural student organizations!

This event is intended for students who have applied to Penn State and are looking for more information about financial aid and other next steps in the admission process. Spend a Fall Day is planned for high school seniors who have maintained a minimum of a 3.0 grade-point-average (83% or B average) from grades 9-11; students must provide confirmation of a submitted application prior to attending.
In honor of Black History Month, the Penn State Multicultural Office of Undergraduate Admissions is excited to invite you to an evening of virtual programming. Students will have an opportunity to learn all about what Penn State has to offer! We have a full evening planned for you including a virtual campus tour and social activities with our multicultural student ambassadors.
The Achievers event recognizes students who have received offers of admission to University Park and showcases the breadth of our multicultural student organizations.These organizations network with attendees and form relationships that continue for years to come. Achievers participants also have the opportunity to connect with faculty and staff from the academic college to which they were offered admission.
