Penn State Visit Requirements

Penn State is happy to be offering on-campus presentations and tours for students and their guests, as well as other in-person events. Pre-registration for our events is required, and participants must agree to follow the visit guidelines outlined below. All students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or other designated adult.

Penn State Visit Requirements:

You must complete a COVID-19 Acknowledgment Form and bring it with you on the day of your event. For registrants under the age of 18, the form must be signed by a parent or guardian.

On-Campus Visit Requirements

  • As of August 4, 2021, Penn State requires wearing a face mask while using public transportation or while in any indoor public space at any University location, including: classrooms of any size, meeting rooms, common areas in residence halls, and all indoor events. You must adhere to these protocols regardless of vaccination status.
  • All visitors will follow the guidelines outlined in the COVID-19 Acknowledgment Form and provide a signed copy upon check-in for the visit.
  • If you or anyone in your party becomes ill, you must contact Penn State to cancel your visit. We will be happy to try to reschedule it for a later date.
  • Any student under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or other designated adult. The COVID Acknowledgment Form must be signed by a student’s parent or guardian if the student is attending with an adult other than their parent/guardian.
  • Penn State reserves the right to alter or cancel any portion of this event at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to shifts in the status of the pandemic or relevant and applicable guidance, or individual participants violating University policy.

  • Guests will follow their local/state COVID-19 guidelines when attending a Penn State event, as well as the guidelines outlined in Penn State’s COVID-19 Acknowledgment Form.
  • Penn State reserves the right to alter or cancel any portion of this event at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to shifts in the status of the pandemic or relevant and applicable guidance, or individual participants violating University policy.

Large Group Visit Information

  • All student forms must be signed by a parent or guardian – the group chaperone cannot sign the form for any student.
  • Any student who becomes ill prior to the program should not attend with the group.
