Date to Accept Offers of Admission Extended to May 15

Penn State will extend its offer acceptance deadline from May 1 to May 15, 2024, for incoming first-year students enrolling in the summer or fall 2024 terms.

    Schreyer Essay Writing Workshop

    The Schreyer Honors College was recently ranked as one of the nation’s top public honors colleges and is widely recognized as one of the foremost undergraduate programs in the United States. The College consists of more than 1,800 Scholars across all Penn State campuses and enrolls approximately 300 first-year students each fall. The benefits of being a Schreyer Scholar are numerous and include:
    • An Academic Excellence Scholarship of $5,000 per year renewable for four years
    • Generous grants for study abroad, research and internships
    • Priority course registration ahead of other Penn State students
    • Small class sizes taught by distinguished faculty
    • Access to additional housing options and living and learning communities

    During our VIRTUAL workshop on Friday, June 17, you will learn more about the advantages of being a Schreyer Scholar and how to enhance your application beyond your transcript by utilizing critical thinking and writing skills.
