Alert Date to Accept Offers of Admission Extended to May 15

Penn State will extend its offer acceptance deadline from May 1 to May 15, 2024, for incoming first-year students enrolling in the summer or fall 2024 terms.

Penn State Wilkes-Barre proudly offers the advantages of an intimate campus atmosphere combined with all the resources of a major research university. Established in 1916 and located on a scenic estate in northeastern Pennsylvania just nine miles from Wilkes-Barre, Penn State Wilkes-Barre is the oldest institution of higher learning in the Wyoming Valley. The campus' Commons building provides a friendly, casual atmosphere for conversation and relaxation.

Penn State Wilkes-Barre holds lectures, workshops, and presentations as well as noon-time programs with musicians, comedians and other entertainers. There is also a new athletics and recreation building with a large gym, regulation basketball court, three racquetball courts, a fitness center, and a multi-purpose room for aerobics, dance, and other activities.
