Penn State Berks
On the outskirts of Reading, Penn State Berks is home to 2,800 students, many of whom take advantage of the campus’ unique programs, particularly in agricultural sciences. The campus is an idyllic setting for living and learning with programs for both resident and commuting students, offering a 110-acre working farm and two greenhouses where students can gain hands-on experience.
About 800 students live on campus, while many others choose to live in privately-owned housing off campus. Major shopping malls, factory outlets, restaurants, movie theatres, recreation facilities, and entertainment options are close by. The campus is easily accessible from anywhere in eastern Pennsylvania, as well as neighboring states. Penn State Berks also offers special services to assist international students.

Prospect visits are intended for individuals who will have earned a high school diploma or the equivalent before enrolling at Penn State, but have not taken more than 18 credits at another regionally accredited college or university since graduating from high school.
