About Spend a Summer Day

Spend a Summer Day at the University Park campus is your chance to feel what it's like as a Penn Stater in the heart of central Pennsylvania. There's so much to do here!

Explore Majors
We admit, we're pretty good matchmakers. We'll talk about matching your interests, passions, and future goals, with majors that are best for you. (Did you know... You can major in almost anything and become a successful entrepreneur or healthcare professional? We'll talk about it.)

Tour Campus
Penn State Tour Guides will guide you on walking campus tours, checking out popular spots around campus and showing you where you'll find the important stuff, like Admissions, Student Aid — and ice cream! Ice cream is always important.

Visit Residence Halls
Step inside our traditional residence halls for a sneak peek at the cozy Penn State life, complete with all the living amenities you'll need. This could be your future home. Bet!

Attend Info Sessions
Get all the info you need about admissions, student financial aid, and various academic colleges. Ask questions and take notes!

Meet Students and Faculty
We're excited to meet you! We'll help you get around campus, share tips on applying for admission, and which student organizations you should check out. Our faculty can talk about their courses, which majors you're considering, and potential career options. We promise, our faculty aren't scary. They're cooler than you think.

Stroll Downtown State College
While you're here, take some time to explore downtown State College! We live in the best college town, sprawling with downtown shops, coffee shops, restaurants, museums, and nature trails. Find out why we call it "Happy Valley."
