Penn State's Commonwealth Campuses have partnered with Pennsylvania Community Colleges to provide a seamless Dual Admissions Program for students seeking to complete a four-year degree at Penn State. Students having attempted 18 or more credits at another accredited institution after high school graduation are considered Transfer Student applicants at Penn State. Please review our Transfer Student Information to explore your options and review eligibility requirements.

Many Penn State World Campus students have credit from prior learning. You do not have to be transferring directly from another degree program to be considered a transfer student. Whether you are coming from a current program, have credits earned within the last academic year, or several years have elapsed since you have participated in your studies, your admission will be processed as a transfer student.
